Sea World '09

No trip to San Diego is complete without a few days at Sea World.
Lizzie, Megan, Julia and Zach

Josh and the dolphins

The shows were great and everyone loved feeding the bat rays and the sea lions. My kids were hesitant at first to touch the dead slimy fish, but soon became enthusiastic and thought I should buy more.

The first day we were at Sea World, Zach insisted that he needed a pincher thing, which he referred to as a "pooper scooper". I didn't see any reason why he needed it and so we didn't get it. He worked on me enough that by the next day when we went back, the first thing we did was buy a beluga whale "pooper scooper". It is the ugliest thing ever and he loves it. Everywhere we went, he always had to be in the front and would call out, "Follow the pooper scooper" and hold it up high for all to see. It was hilarious.
