Last Day of School and 5th Grade Graduation!

Hooray for the last day of school!

It was also 5th Grade Graduation.  Here is Julia receiving her certificate from her teacher, Ms. Block and the principal, Mr. Kentris

To celebrate both events we went to Val's for hamburgers and milkshakes.

Josh was so excited for school to end and had been talking about a trip to Val's for weeks.  The end of school also means that it is finally time for our big trip. We leave tomorrow!

Weekend

Josh's last game of the season was Friday night.  We came home and celebrated with the birthday cake Julia made for me that morning.  Unfortunately they are standing in front of the cake in this picture so you can't see how many candles she put on it.  Let's just say there were plenty!

Saturday morning Julia's team had their last game of the season.  It was the tournament championship game and they won!  They got a first place plaque and a T-shirt that reads :

"Castro Valley Girls Softball League Champions".

Congratulations Mets!

Zach also had his last game on Saturday.

Zach played the first inning at pitcher and had 4 great catches

The kids all had a great season and I can't believe that we can finally say that the season is over!
